Release Notes
The Math Doesn't Lie — Website v2.8.0
Website v2.8.0 integrates Evidence Engine 6.5 with TMDL's shared security universe while preserving the governed Release 6.4 scoring methodology.
Website v2.8.0 · Evidence Engine 6.5
Status: Release candidate.
- Adds the Evidence Engine as a native TMDL research tool.
- Launches evaluations from the shared S&P 500, SCHD, benchmark, and investment-universe market record.
- Passes the selected ticker, company, dated price, and exact snapshot source into the evaluation workflow.
- Leaves SEC identity verification, filing acquisition, evidence resolution, scoring, and immutable publication inside the governed engine.
- Preserves Release 6.4 methodology and explicitly defers the three outstanding governance decisions.
- Repairs the unresolved home-page merge state in the v2.7.7 source package.
Website v2.6.0 · Covered Call Lab v2.7.3
Status: Release candidate.
- Covered Call Lab updated to the reconciled August ledger and v2.7.3 interface.
- S&P 500, SCHD, investment-universe, covered-call, and benchmark views share one ticker database.
- Finnhub access moved out of public browser code and into a rate-limited GitHub Action using a repository secret.
- Shared prices refresh centrally after market close; fundamental fields are maintained monthly.
- Historical ledger summary adds month-by-month experiment commentary and distinguishes assignment from intentional sales.
- Current holdings sort ahead of exited positions, then by total contribution.
- Absolute canonical URLs, sitemap, and robots metadata added to address Google's duplicate-without-user-selected-canonical report.
- Public portfolio labels remain anonymized.
Production Release v2.5.0
Status: Production.
- Covered Call Lab v2.5.0 promoted to production.
- Hybrid valuation architecture implemented.
- Historical ledger accounting remains fixed until the next ledger reconciliation.
- Live quote refresh updates market-sensitive values only.
- Open covered-call positions use strategy-adjusted stock values capped at the active strike.
- Portfolio Value now reconciles against the live brokerage account within normal quote-timing variance.
- Strike Ceiling Value added as a visible holdings metric.
- Benchmark snapshot dates added.
- Benchmark ending values corrected to derive from the same baseline as return percentages.
- Production DTE behavior restored.
- Sandbox behavior preserved.
- Privacy cleanup applied to portfolio naming.
Validation Baseline
- Ledger Snapshot: June 30, 2026.
- Benchmark Baseline: March 31, 2026.
- Portfolio Value validated against the live brokerage account using current market quotes.
- Strike Ceiling Value validated at approximately $77,750 for the current covered-call book.
Release Discipline
This build is the new production baseline. The valuation engine should remain frozen until the next monthly ledger reconciliation unless a must-fix accounting, privacy, quote, or user-interface defect is found.
